Love in Paradoxes
By Maelina Frattaroli
I speak to break your silence
My hopes are your stomping ground
I laugh because your face is numb
I shed tears because your eyes are dry
I go Breast Cancer pink because you go Army green
I'm on a whim and you're on a regiment
Your hidden agenda is transparent
I walk in circles; you walk in squares
I journey to the other side of the world-- where you are
To drift further and further from you
And we find each other
Still lost on dead-end roads
Together, we are inseparable
Oddly, we're an even pair
Hatefully, we love one another

Maelina isn't a fan of writing bios; they're so impersonal. But, here goes. She's a lover of words and all things garlic. She'll be forever inspired by Tom Waits and Neil Diamond. She also has a relentless phobia of moths.
