By David L Major
She has a magical smile.
It’s not meant for him,
but he intercepts the odd one
like a sneak thief.
When she laughs,
there is a tilt of the head
that is quite intoxicating.
She doesn’t know that she does it.
Sometimes, he works for these;
sometimes, it’s just a matter of waiting —
either way, they always come.
Then, he is happy.
