The Beach Stroll
By Ramesh Anand
Early spring in the evening air,
Colourful kites fill the twilight,
Flock of birds are homing,
Changing colours of clouds and waves,
Songfulness of children fills the breeze,
Balloons are flying off the wallah's stand,
Romantic feel of cooling waves,
grandness of pink candyfloss in ballooned bags,
As she and I are strolling,
Hand in hand,
On the sands of Marina beach.
