Stay

The reflection in your eyes
Show sadness and despair.

Has your lust for life
Been drowned out by anger?

Let it rain roses on you
All over again.

Have that candy taste
Sweet again in your sour mouth.

Life will make you smile
As your heart did so long ago.

Remember the memories
That warmed your mind.

Until then I will stay
Right here with you.
