And I Was There

i will follow you
wherever you go

i want to be with you
for all the time ticking on my clock

when the wind blows
i'll catch your heart in the dewy sunshine

a kiss was not asked for
but you still gave it to me

when you turn your back on me
rain will come down from my eyes

then i hope you will stop
and say to me

i missed you
for 20 years now

have you always been there?

and i'll say
i was always here

always here
for you

always
