Nobody knows
By M. R. Miller
We walk down the street
And nobody knows
I tell you I love you
So everyone hears
And nobody knows
Days turned to weeks
Weeks into months
The next step is years
And nobody knows
That day in October
With all of our friends
Forever began
When we didn't yet know
What nobody knows
We crossed the ocean
With all of our friends
And started to know
What nobody knows
The distance between us
Can't keep us apart
And nobody knows
But someday; a ring
So everybody knows
But nobody knows

This is Miller’s second submission written about the same person. I love writing about love. Enjoy!
