Love Is An Hour Away
By Steve Baba
My head hurts
But not as bad as my heart
She's a state away
Only an hour by air
I can't be there
But I hope she's thinking of me
As I sit here in front of the
Living room looking at
A picture of us
In happier times
No beer
No wine
No liquor
Can extinguish these feelings
In my mind it repeats over and over
I miss you
I miss you
I miss you
I'll be going to bed now
Remembering how she shared a bed
And it was the soundest sleep
That I ever had
