Rain In Spring I
By jhm
april rain soothe my heart.
percussive droplets in rhythm
with strings plucked in joy,
in the blanket of clouds,
grey and tranquil,
memories of you arrive,
discontent's envoy.
i do not cringe, nor do i sigh,
you wash away with the rain.
cherry blossom petals on the wind,
my breath is light again.
