memory of you
laughing
happy
like:
children and ice cream,
Christmas and snow.
Why do you tug
at this
piece of hollow
vase.
I know I am
a number tucked inside
your pocket,
saved for a rainy day

My name is Nicole Resnick. I am a current graduate from CU Boulder and I love writing poems about love and the hurt it can sometimes cause. Each of these poems describes the hurt that love can have on someone and how sometimes the pain that doesn't go away.
