The Boy I'll never Have
By Sarah Hopkins
I keep going back
like there will be something there for me this time
I could fall asleep in your arms
every night, if you'd let me
when I feel your hand on my back
gently caressing my skin
I know that there could be
you and me, if you'd let us
what's holding you back?
we've spent late nights together
talking, laughing, making
love
it could happen, if you'd let it.

I'm a freshman at Michigan State University. I love to write and paint. For now, I will keep running back to him, in hopes that one day he will be mine.
