And now I’ve got to leave

I don’t know why or where I’m going

I pray you’re waiting there for me



Wherever I go you’ll be with me

Even if it’s in my dreams

But how can I even sleep at all

Without you here I’m nothing



So here I am just waiting

For your next phone call

I need to hear your voice again

So I can keep on going

I figured out where I’m going

And why I had to leave

I’m going to wherever you’re not

So I can come home to you



Wherever I went you were with me

Always in my dreams

I found that I could fall asleep

Just by thinking about you



Home is where the heart is

That’s what they always say

But I say home is where you are

Waiting for me always



You are my peace

You are my castle

You are my every little thing

You are everything I need

Now I’m finally home

And there you are waiting

With arms wide open

To take me back again
