Madly In Love
By Janet Robinson
Dear Ida,
Last night was an incredible night.
The mothership came and whisked me away.
We made a pitstop at Pluto
And picked flowers with unicorns on Jupiter.
I met a much of little men with green skin.
(They told me they knew you and missed you as much as I do.)
But our meeting was cut short by socks
(Evil socks)
Bent on world domination.
Thank god for Gunter.
If it hadn’t been for his rainbow-shooting axe
We all surely would have died.
After that, we went back home and had tea in the bathtub
Of the eighth dimension.
It was a wonderful time.
Hugs and kisses,
(Wish you were here)
Love you always

P.S. Tell the guards at your asylum that I said “hi.”
